Jello Legs!

Dean and I are working on our landscaping around the edge of our house. I spent two hours outside before Dean got home from work and mowed the edges of the house and garage and around the trees. Then after edging everything I could possibly edge...I found more to edge. Until I ran into two hornets nests...thankfully they were not too angry and I didn't get stung. By that time I was so exhausted. Then when he got home we went shopping for edging and mulch to three...count them...three different stores. Normally I love to shop..but by the time we hit Home Depot I told Dean "Just pick something...I don't care!" And if you know me, I have an opinion about everything! So, now I am sitting here sunburned and with jello for legs. But the yard is shaping up so that is a bonus. The plan is to weed out the front (because it seriously looks like we are growing wildflowers) and put down landscaping edging and mulch tomorrow afternoon. I am really excited by the project...maybe if I can get a few fun pics tomorrow I'll post them and you can see our freshly landscaped front yard. In the mean time I am going to lounge on the couch and do absolutely nothing!

Hope you got a chance to lounge! You've been crazy busy. Can't wait to see your yard!

Yes, we need pictures! It feels so good when a job like that is finally done!

I am planning on coming to your shower! Can I bring Rachel? She is 6 and very quiet.

Unfortunately the storm stopped the landscaping process...we have one corner of the front done. Hoping to finish by this week! We were kind of rushing so I didn't get pics yet. Hopefully I can post them by the end of the week!

Kara - Of course you can bring Rachel! :)

You had major storms this weekend. Were you able to finish more of it today? At least the rain made you lounge in the chair! That is a bright note after you've worked in 90 degree weather. :)
