Working Mommy...

Yesterday I got the call I was waiting for and I accepted a job offer from an independent agency in Midland. So I have once again officially joined the working world. Working mom...that's really what I do best! I have loved the time off to be with my little guy and get to know him better but I'm so excited for this new chapter in our lives. Dean and I both have new jobs which will be challenging but we are definitely up for it! I can't wait!

Things I have learned while I was off....

1. My toddler is amazing - I was so busy before I didn't take as much time to notice

2. Cutting coupons really IS for everyone!

3. Home cooked meals are best

4. Sometimes it's good to just SLOW DOWN

5. Reading grown up books again makes me happy!

I really believe that this time off, while rather unscheduled and unwelcome at first, was a blessing. I am happy being out of my old job and while I miss some of the people I really don't miss the place. I am amazed that I was able to come out the end of  all of this feeling like a better version of myself.
