Dean and I took a trip to Tawas to see my parents this weekend. It was a great time! We had an awesome Sunday lunch and there was a car show in town and it was really cool to see all the old cars. The guys were in heaven. We also went to a couple of shops including the Avon store (my mom needed to find some aloe vera for her sun burn) , a specialty childrens clothes store (where we found some Harley Davidson gear for Logan - we have to see what size he'll need first though!) and Village Choclatier. Seriously they can do anything with chocolate! We also went into the book shop but that is a whole other blog in itself. We tried to walk out on the dock but it was so windy and no one brought a sweatshirt. Went to the beach - Man the water was COLD! We walked by Normans where one teen age girl passing asked her dad if it was Wal-Mart. We all had a great laugh - my dad figured that family didn't get out much!

Your trip sounds great! And your book reading suggestion cracks me up! I haven't even read that book, but I'm sure Jackson would love it!
