So Dean and I along with my mom went to Child & Infant CPR class tonight. I have not taken CPR class for a while and some of the info changed. Like I didn't know you were supposed to do 30 compressions and two breaths....holy! That's a lot of compressions. Well we'll just pray the class was a waste and I will NEVER have to worry about it. Because if something every happened I would likely come undone. Anyways...I also found out the carseat rules and about the new booster seat laws. Good to know.
Joy had her 29 week check up today. 29 WEEKS!!! AHHH! I am so stinkin' excited. She informed me that with Luke (her two year old) that she only made it to 37 1/2 weeks. Whoa...I have so much to do and if that's the case - not enough time. Even if she doesn't go that early she has a tendancy to be early by a week anyways. Logan has a great heartrate. Joy lost weight (which she was thrilled with). But he is obviously growing b/c the doctor told her she looked like she could go now to which she responded "Thanks for that!" Although I am still sure she doesn't look like a mammoth whale - which is what she referred her likeness to the other day! I can't wait to see her (and Logan) on Saturday! We are going shopping after my shower to get her a few more shirts and a pair of capris to last her through the end. I can't believe it so near in sight. Pretty soon we will have our little baby boy!! WOOHOO!!!
I am blessed to have an awesome church family and can't wait for my shower on Saturday! Nathan (Joy's eight year old) was very upset that he could not come to the shower b/c he very firmly informed Joy that Logan is his cousin too! So Joy had to explain to him that it was a girl thing - he finally gave in to the idea. Though I am not sure he was happy about it. He's so cute. He loves his cousin already that's for sure! :) And Emily (Joy's ten year old) is so excited that she is grown up enough to come! :) While Luke very contentedly points to Dean and I when Joy asks him where Baby Logan is going when he's born. As if to say - you take that kid! I am sure he is very content to remain the baby of their family! :)
Well that's about it! 29 weeks and counting!

We are in a parade at 11:00 so I will be a little late. What exciting news for you all.
All Rachel wants to know is, "Are we going to eat there?" She loves going to girly events.
I know you feel like you have a ton to do, but you will have everything he needs. Trust me.
Jen - the parade took forever to start. We finally moved from position 71 at 11:35!! I totally missed the shower and still have a luxurious gift for Logan. I will bring it to church and if you're not there, I am totally dropping it off. You might need to try it out before he makes his appearance. Sorry I wasn't able to make it today. :(
Chris - I totally get that stuff happens. I hope you enjoyed the parade! I don't know if we'll be there tomorrow but now you got me all excited about trying it out - and I don't even know what it is yet! :) See you soon.
